Bespoke Garden Rooms
The flagship build — a fully insulated, year-round room designed around your garden and how you'll use it.
Every Vertex garden room is designed from scratch, not pulled off a shelf. We size it to your garden, orient it for light, and specify the glazing, cladding, insulation and interior finish to suit the way you want to live in it. Fully insulated walls, floor and roof mean it's a proper room in every season — Chris Nunn called his 'a bespoke garden room' finished with 'professionalism, craftsmanship, and attention to detail… outstanding from start to finish.'

Bespoke Garden Offices
A dedicated workspace at the end of the garden — powered, wired for data, and quiet enough to think in.
A garden office has to work as hard as an office in town: proper power, data and heating designed in, insulation that keeps calls quiet and rooms warm, and glazing that gives you light without glare. Form Square Games said Vertex 'designed, supplied and built the perfect working environment for our new business… well thought out with lots of nice touches, it will allow our company to grow for years to come.'

Summer Houses
A calm, characterful retreat that transforms how you use the garden — for reading, hosting or simply sitting out.
A summer house is about atmosphere as much as construction. We build them to feel like a destination at the bottom of the garden — wide openings, warm materials, a finish that invites you in. Caroline Dabney's Vertex summer house 'is outstanding; it has transformed my back garden!'

Insulated Garden Buildings
Gyms, studios, hobby rooms, annexes and dens — insulated outbuildings for whatever the house can't hold.
The same warm, dry, well-built envelope adapts to almost any use: a home gym, an art or music studio, a hobby workshop, a teenage den or a guest annexe. We spec the power, ventilation, insulation and layout around what actually goes on inside — so the building suits the use, not the other way round.

Heating, Insulation & Climate Comfort
Warm in winter, cool in summer — the part cheaper buildings skimp on and you notice every day.
Insulation runs through the whole envelope, and we design in heating so the room is genuinely usable in the depths of winter. Alex Howard's build has 'insulation and heating to keep warm in the winter and wide bi-fold doors to open up the space during barbecues and summer parties' — one room, comfortable across all four seasons.

Bi-fold Doors & Glazing
Wide aluminium bi-folds and French doors that open the room to the garden and flood it with light.
Thermally broken aluminium doors in anthracite give slim sightlines, a wide summer opening and a proper winter seal. We design the glazing to balance light, view and privacy — the difference between a room you look at and a room that becomes part of the garden.

Interior Fit-out & Finishing
Plastered, painted, powered and finished — handed over ready to move straight in.
We finish the inside like a room in the house: skimmed and painted walls, flooring, lighting, sockets and data. Mark Wilkinson's review notes a quote that was 'really detailed and thorough,' a team that 'always turned up when they said they would,' and a few 'extra bits… at no extra cost.' The fit-out is where a build stops being a structure and becomes a room.

Groundwork & Base Preparation
The foundation the whole room stands on — levelled, laid and got right before the frame goes up.
A garden room is only ever as good as the base beneath it. We prepare and lay the foundation to suit your ground, so the building sits level, stays dry underneath and doesn't move — the unglamorous groundwork that a well-built room quietly depends on for decades.
